O. D. Henderson Lodge # 437 was
granted it’s charter on Monday, October 19, 1868 during the Grand Annual

were held at O. D. Henderson’s store,
Estill

succeeding the full moon in each month. Officers for the year of
1868 were: Rev. O. D. Henderson—Master, Abe Henderson—Senior
Warden, Charles Rice—Junior Warden, Sydney Tudor—Treasurer, John
Wilson—Secretary, Josiah Park—Senior Deacon, Hiram A. Tudor—Junior

held at O. D. Henderson’s store for seven years, when in 1875 the Lodge
Hall was built, according to our records, near O.D. Henderson’s store.
The original deed to the building and property was recorded on the 20th
day of November, 1876.
